Have you ever wanted to connect with a loved one who has passed? You really can! You do not need to be a trained medium to make a powerful connection with your loved ones. All that’s needed is your intention and a little bit of practice.
It can be hard to trust that your loved ones are near, because we’re so used to trusting only what we can see with our physical eyes, or hear with our physical ears. But you can train yourself to feel the presence of a loved one, to see them with your inner eyes, and hear them with your inner ears.
How To Connect: Outside Seeing vs. Inside Seeing
There are two types of seeing: outside seeing, and inside seeing. Outside seeing is seeing with your physical eyes, and inside seeing is what you see inside your mind. We see inside our minds all the time. Whenever you imagine or daydream, you’re seeing pictures inside your mind. Whenever you remember scenes from a movie and you see them playing in your head, you’re using inside seeing. Our spirit guides and loved ones use that blank canvas of our minds and imagination to telepathically send images and pictures. If you’re not used to this, you might worry that you’re just making stuff up. It takes a little bit of practice to trust that what you’re seeing is real.
Inside hearing is what you hear inside your mind. All of us have inner voices we listen to. Unfortunately, the biggest talker inside our minds is the inner judge. The inner judge says things like, “That was so stupid. I can’t believe I said that.” Etc. If you can quiet that inner dialog for just a few seconds, your loved ones can send you words or thoughts. Again, you might misinterpret these words as something you’re making up. That’s okay. The more you make connections with Spirit, the more you’ll get used to seeing, hearing, and feeling them.
I hope the exercises in the following video help you begin to make connections with Spirit.
