Want to know a simple way to capture the Summer vibe, then read on…

I love cooking, but more than that I love magickal cooking!

Each herb and food ingredient has its own unique power and when we add our magick to the cooking process we weave a spell that becomes a part of us in a very physical, tangible way. When we ingest magick, as well as the health-enhancing properties of the herbs and the other edible ingredients, it creates a very powerful spell.

On another level, the aromas of food tantalize, calling us into simple pleasure and spirituality.

Greek food gives me this experience. I’m sure most of us can agree that Greek food is extraordinary! Not only is their food superb, but the Greeks have contributed to much to our modern culture, as well as greatly influencing many magickal traditions, both directly and indirectly.

We see evidence of this throughout the Greek Islands; this legacy can be found in artwork, in writings, and in certain places of worship, especially their natural places of worship. The Goddess was, and is, honored in Greece and magick is afoot where she lives.

In honor of the Greeks and all they have given us, I want to share with you a traditional and very magickal Greek dish for summer.
