2021 is almost here and I can’t be the only one who is ready to shout out “HALLELUJAH!” from the rooftop!
But listen, I gotta have a chat with you real quick… I’m concerned. I’ve been seeing a lot of articles and posts floating around the cyber-sphere lately that are quite negative in nature, regarding the outlook for 2021…
I know that 2020 has been a dumpster fire of raging hell, but we can’t let a little global pandemic, social unjust, political garbage, and natural disasters dull our shine now, can we?
It’s time to take back our collective power and give ourselves permission to be freaking happy again. You deserve joy, abundance, and prosperity – but newsflash, you can’t get those things if you walk around in a black cloud spewing out negative outlooks for the coming year.
But hey, I’ve got some good news for you…
Well, actually, I’ve 5 good newses (yes, Karen, I know that’s not grammatically correct, but it’s 2020 so I’m rolling with it)…
Besides the obvious things that will make 2021 astounding better than 2020, like the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine, a global economic recovery, and an adult living in the white house again…
We also have some very good astrological alignments to look forward to. And I’m telling you, it’s got me feeling pretty dang positive about 2021.
The Age of Aquarius
Okay, so technically there is quite a bit of differing opinions on when exactly the Age of Aquarius is. Some people think we’ve been in it for a couple of decades, and others believe it won’t start for a few more years…
But there’s no denying the massive Aquarius energy that we’ll be riding into the New Year with. The recent Great Conjunction broke a centuries-long cycle of Jupiter and Saturn only meeting in Earth signs. Now, for the first time in 200 years, this is happening in an Air sign – Aquarius.
This means we’re leaving behind the very materialistic, greedy, and achievement-focused Earth energy… And moving into the realm of the mind, deeper connections, and tech advancement associated with Air energy.
Jupiter and Saturn are both planets that harbor massive change, and with this meet-up happening in the humanitarian sign of Aquarius… you can expect quite a bit of social change and progressions during this 20-year cycle.
I think I speak for us all when I say, it’s about damn time.
Change is Coming
Oh no, we aren’t done talking about Saturn and Aquarius just yet… It just so happens that Saturn will be hanging out in Aquarius for all of 2021, so we better talk about it a little more.
Saturn is the taskmaker of the zodiac. It’s the planet of structure, accountability, and tough love.
And Aquarius, as we already talked about, is all about humanitarian pursuits, tech advancements, positive vibes, and revolution.
This means that all of the social injustice, global crises, and international turmoil that we’ve been desperately trying to get our world leaders to pay attention to… Are finally going to be addressed.
I can’t promise you exactly what will be addressed. But I can promise you that our pal, Saturn is going to be holding everyone accountable this year.
A Good Year For Love And…
Not just any love… hot, steamy, and spicy love. On July 13th, Venus and Mars conjunct. Which means we’ll have the planet of love and relationships, meeting up with the planet of desires, passion, energy, and sex.
So hell yeah, this is your year to finally bust out of that sex shell you’ve been keeping yourself in. Attention is turning to your sexual expression… so this year is going to be a really good time to let loose and have a little fun in the bedroom.
And no, I’m not necessarily advocating that you go around and sleep with everyone you meet. (Although this IS a judgement-free zone, so do you, babe). What I’m really talking about with this Venus/Mars energy is finding a deeper, and more vulnerable, sexual connection with a partner you really love.
This means opening up about the things that bring you pleasure, the things you fantasize about, the things you’re not so wild about, and the things you’d like to try…
I know it can be uncomfortable, but let’s work on that in 2021, okay? Take responsibility for your pleasure, speak up, let your partner in… and watch in awe, as your closed-door encounters blow your freaking mind.
It’s Going DOWN
If you thought 2020 was a wild year for activism and social justice pursuits… well you’re in for a big surprise in 2021 (but in a good way, I promise!)
And actually, if I had to choose one word to describe what 2021 will be like… it would be ACTIVISM.
Saturn and Uranus are squaring off three times in 2021. On February 17th, June 14th, and December 24th respectively.
Saturn is the planet of restrictions, rules, responsibilities, and long-term lessons. While Uranus is the forward-thinking planet of change, awakenings, and break-throughs.
And to add a little extra spice to mix… Uranus will be stationed in stubborn Taurus for all of 2021, which means IT’S NOT BACKING DOWN.
This is going to be wild for us in terms of shaking up the “old ways” of doing things and moving into a new system of beliefs, practices, and values.
I know this sounds scary, but I’m telling you this is actually a really, really, really good thing for us!
I’m mean think about it… how many of us have complained tirelessly about all the things that are wrong in this world, that just don’t seem to ever pick up enough steam to make a radical change?
These squares are going to be intense, there’s no doubt about it, but they’re going to be well worth it. It’s going to push our society into being more progressive, challenge the “good ‘ol boys” school of thought, and force us to open our minds and change our ways… ultimately morphing the world into a better place.

Yes 2020, was HARD. And we’re all ready for it to be over… But I think it’s important to remember that it wasn’t all bad (we just like to focus on the bad because we enjoy torturing ourselves).
People woke up in 2020. Sure, a lot of bad things had to happen before we all theoretically pulled our heads from our arses. But in the grand scheme of things, most of us are walking away from 2020 smarter, better, stronger, determined, and more resilient than ever before.
We’re counting on you 2021. Don’t f*ck it up, okay?
